I had so much FUN writing Murder in Nice last summer! Especially after my visit there. In fact, I outlined the latest Maggie book to largely follow the steps (or more accurately the miles) I traveled down the Côte d’Azur. From Nice to St-Buvard (fictional, but largely tracing the drive from the Riviera to Aix), and then back to Nice and down the coast all the way to Marseille and Arles.

I love your books. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading them. I desperately want to go to France!
Haha…you should go! France is really an indelible experience–especially if you’ve never been but always “refills the well” to visit anytime. Thanks for your lovely note.
I hope you are already writing another installment of the Maggie series. I read all six over the Christmas holidays and went looking for more only to discover that the last one, Murder in Nice, was released in fall. I would also love it if you keep Grace in the series and in France.
Thank you, Gillian! Yes there are several Maggie books scheduled for release this year and absolutely Grace will be in them and in France. So glad you like the books!
Your books are SUCH a delight! Don’t know which I enjoy more, the murder mysteries with all the crazy people or Maggie’s husband’s recipes. Please keep the great stories coming……how about if Grace and the French cop Roger got together—that would be a neat mix.
You know, Jane, that is a very interesting idea. And while I may not get them together ultimately, it certainly would mix things up on every level if I had them at least date! Haha! Thanks for writing and for the great tip!
