If there were more than 5 stars I would give this book the maximum number. This is a super good story with plenty of mystery and intrigue, fast moving action, so entertaining that it is hard to put down. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy a terrific mystery.

I had read the next book before this one, so now I have the background and understand references made (didn’t diminish the first book I read – this just made it richer). The characters are folks you can identify with – and you feel as if you are there. Family and relationships are big – these are important to Maggie – and she goes all out to help, much to Laurent’ s chagrin – and her personal danger.

I picked up this book about a month ago. I didn’t really expect much but boy was I wrong. This is such a well-written book; the story flowed along effortlessly and pulled me right along. Great characters and mystery, and adventure (yikes, the catacombs). I was totally engrossed with the story and the characters, who were extremely well developed. I highly recommend this book.
